This city park is a site of national historical importance on the bank of the St. Charles River. Public recreational and educational activities. Take advantage of recent improvements to the site and enjoy the tranquility of the nearby aquatic habitat teeming with life. Learn about explorer Jacques Cartier, who wintered here during his second journey to the New World in 1535-1536, and Jean de Brébeuf, who established the Jesuit order in Canada in 1625.
